C1 Inhibitor deficiency is a rare disorder, characterised by recurrent angio-oedema of skin, upper respiratory and gastrointestinal tracts. It can be a mimicker of acute abdomen or anaphylaxis to drug or food and lead on to unnecessary overtreatment.
